Payment Procedure for standard booking:

~ A refundable security deposit is due upon receipt/signing of the rental agreement. Dates will be marked as "reserved" once the security deposit is received.

~ Rental fees can be paid by Venmo, PayPal (+ fees) or personal check. Last-minute rentals must be paid in full at booking.

** Please note that we cannot guarantee availability until a reservation is complete and the security deposit is received. Also, please note that this Fire Island rental is located in the quiet section of OBP and that noise and overcrowding rules are enforced. Those looking for a loud party house should look elsewhere. Our guests are usually over 25 years old. No sublets allowed. **

Villa du Soleil is located in the beautiful Fire Island community of Ocean Bay Park. Our neighborhood is very family oriented, which we really enjoy ourselves. The house is 6 houses from a pristine, uncrowded beach. Seaview is a few blocks away. Ocean Beach is less than a 10-minute bike ride away.

The specs:

 

  • This simple and spacious 4-bedroom house is nicely spread out on one level, with three big bedrooms in the main house (two rooms have one queen-size bed in each; the third has a bunk bed), and a separate/detached guest bedroom in the back (with one double/full-size bed for 1 or 2). The detached, private guest room is only steps away from the main house - best for adult guests (not young children). All bedrooms have A/C in the summer, as well as ceiling or wall-mounted fans, oscillating fans and lots of windows. All the windows and doors are screened and the loft-like living area has a ceiling fan and two wall-mounted fans.

  • The house sleeps up to 8 people (including children), has 2 bathrooms (one with shower) and 2 deck areas - a front deck for eating and a back deck for lounging in the sun & shade.

  • Villa du Soleil is equipped with: renovated kitchen, outdoor shower, washer/dryer, stainless steel fridge, electric range, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, blender, cooking gear/utensils, condiments, pots, pans, etc.; Wi-Fi Internet, Satellite TV (DirecTV, etc.), DVD, VCR, CD stereo; adult bicycles, wagon, linens & towels (bath & beach), port-a-crib, Weber BBQ grill, games, books, video/DVD library, patio & deck furniture, beach chairs & umbrellas, beach toys, etc.

 

All utilities (electric, propane, water, cable) are included in the rental fee. The only charge is a standard cleaning fee ($195 + $25 pet fee). A refundable security deposit is also due when booking.

 

This Fire Island rental is perfect for a large family (or 2 small families) or a mellow group. It's easily accessible for seniors (also with ramp to street) and easy to keep track of small kids as the house is on one floor and the living room, dining room and kitchen are all in one large, open space. Very practical to keep everyone around and busy while cooking for the whole family in a huge, fully-equipped kitchen!

Please note that while this Fire Island rental is not winterized (for early or late season stays), the house has double walls, and there are plenty of quilts and blankets.
