How to book Villa Étoile

Fire Island Rentals for mellow groups (over 25+) and families. NO shares, prom groups, partygoers, etc. This is a family home in a family-oriented neighborhood.

Payment Procedure for standard booking:

~ A refundable security deposit is due upon receipt/signing of the rental agreement. Dates will be marked as "reserved" once the security deposit is received.

~ Rental fees can be paid by Venmo, PayPal (+ fees) or personal check. Last-minute rentals must be paid in full at booking.

** Please note that we cannot guarantee availability until a reservation is complete and the security deposit is received. Also, please note that our house is located in the quiet section of OBP and that noise and overcrowding rules are enforced. Those looking for a loud party house should look elsewhere. Most of our guests are at least 25 years old. No sublets allowed. **

Villa Étoile is located in a beautiful Fire Island community called Ocean Bay Park. Our section of the community is very family oriented, which we really enjoy ourselves as parents of two little ones. The house is only 6 houses from a beautiful beach. Seaview is a few blocks away. Ocean Beach is less than a 10-minute bike ride away.

Villa Étoile, Erie Street  (Sleeps up to 6)

 

The specs:

​

  • 3-bedroom bungalow with a great 2-story layout and amazing light throughout. Perfect for a small family (up to 6 people, including kids). 

  • The Dining room and living room are in a huge open space cooled by wall-mounted and oscillating fans and clerestory windows that catch the high ocean breezes. Two downstairs bedrooms have A/C in the summer, as well as wall-mounted and oscillating fans. All the windows and doors are screened.

  • Downstairs: 2 bedrooms (one has a double/full-size bed for 1 or 2, and the other has 2 comfy twin beds), Living room, Dining room, Kitchen, full bathroom with shower.

  • Upstairs: "master" bedroom upstairs (with a queen-size bed). This room can be opened up to overlook the living room and also has its own private balcony deck and small bathroom. There is a wall-mounted fan, and wrap-around windows and double French doors let in ocean breezes.

  • TWO large deck areas: one in the front with a big table for lunching outside in the sun, and another deck, even more private, in the back of the house with deck chairs to hang out in the sun or the shade as the tall bamboo sways in the wind.

  • Villa Étoile is equipped with: TV (with HDMI connection), WiFi Internet, DVD, VCR, CD stereo; appliances (washer/dryer, D/W, stainless steel fridge, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee machine, coffee bean grinder, full cooking gear/utensils, basic condiments & spices, pots, pans, etc.), linens and & towels (bath & beach), porta-crib, adult bicycles & wagon.

  • There's a giant cedar outdoor shower surrounded by trees, Weber BBQ grill, patio & deck furniture (dining tables in front and back), beach chairs & umbrellas, toys, games, books, Smashball sets, etc.

All utilities (electric, propane, water, cable) are included in the rental fee. The only charge is a standard cleaning fee ($195 + $25 pet fee). A refundable security deposit is also due when booking.

Please note that while the house is not winterized (for early or late season stays), the walls are insulated and there are plenty of quilts and blankets.
